Stunning location in Tuscan Maremma!
Set on the coast of Maremma in the province of Grosseto, right at the heart of the Sun Gulf between Piombino and Punta Ala and facing the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago, Follonica has been a popular tourist and sea resort since the early Sixties. Lovely pinewoods, a luxuriant Mediterranean bush, long, sandy beaches, romantic coves and crystal-blue waters are the perfect mix for special holidays. Follonica is somehow secluded, almost hidden away by the beauty of the landscape of Maremma, gently sloping towards the sea. The coastline is low and clean, an irresistible attraction for families with children. Every year the European Blue Flag vouches for the quality of waters and the cleanliness of this stretch of Tuscan coast. The golden sands of Cala Violina to the South, Torre Mozza and Carbonifera to the North, with the Sterpaia Coast Park, a pleasant oasis of dunes and shady pinewoods mirrored in one of the loveliest seas stretches in the Region, are only a few minutes' drive away.
The islands of the Tuscan Archipelago and Isle Elba are within easy reach. You can discover the stunning beauty of Pianosa, Giglio and Capraia on a sailing excursion or mini-cruise departing daily from Piombino. In the nearby area you can also visit the archaeological sites of Gavorrano, the seat of a mining park, and the Etruscan necropolises and settings of Vetulonia and Populonia. Gourmet visitors longing for the flavours of typical Tuscan produce (wines, olive oil and scores of well-known specialities) will enjoy a tour along the Monteregio Wine Trail, inside the Metallifere Hills district in the Upper Tuscan Maremma. Grosseto, the Maremma Nature Park and the well-known resort of Castiglione della Pescaia are less than half an hour's drive away.

Pretty location in Principe Island!(Sao Tomè e Principe)
Príncipe is the smaller, northern major island of the country of São Tomé and Príncipe lying off the west coast of Africa.[1] It has an area of 136 square kilometres (53 sq mi) and a population of approximately 5,000. The island is a heavily eroded volcano speculated to be over three million years old, surrounded by smaller islands including Ilheu Bom Bom, Ilhéu Caroço, Tinhosa Grande and Tinhosa Pequena. Part of the Cameroon Line archipelago, Príncipe rises in the south to 948 metres at Pico de Príncipe, in a thickly forested area forming part of theObo National Park.[2]
The island was uninhabited when discovered by the Portuguese and named "Príncipe" (Prince's island) in honor of Afonso, Prince of Portugal, his father's favorite. Subsequently, the north and centre of the island were made into plantations, most of them formed by Portuguese colonialists using slave labor. These concentrated initially on producingsugar and later on cocoa, becoming the world's greatest cocoa producer.[3] Since independence, these plantations have largely reverted to forest.
Príncipe was the site where Einstein's Theory of Relativity was experimentally corroborated by Arthur Stanley Eddington and his team during the total solar eclipse of May 29th, 1919.
